Behind the scenes at the Book Lover's Ball

We were fortunate enough to chat with several Canadian authors at the ninth annual Book Lover's Ball, in support of the Toronto Public Library!

On February 6th, the Cityline Book Club took the ninth annual Book Lover’s Ball by storm! Our very own Tracy Moore hosted the event for the third straight year, while members of our book club chatted with Canadian authors and over 500 book lovers who helped raise over $25,000 through the auction and $58,000 through the Adopt-a-Branch program, all in support of the Toronto Public Library — one of the busiest urban public library systems in the world.

It was an unforgettable evening, and we were fortunate enough to chat with several Canadian authors, including Ania Szado (author of Studio Saint-Ex), Michael Ignatieff (author of Fire & Ashes), Andrew Pyper (author of The Demonologist), Olivia Chow (author of My Journey), and Eva Stachniak (author of Empress of the Night). Get a behind-the-scenes look at this fantastic event in the video below!
