Here we go! The 7th annual Cityline Weight Loss Challenge is about to begin! Over the seven years we have aired the Cityline Weight Loss Challenge, the program has become one of the most popular segments on Cityline, with our participants losing over 548 pounds! We have also heard from Canadians from coast to coast who have transformed their health by following along with us.
So….the fact that you are reading this paragraph means that you have an interest in joining us, losing weight, and feeling like your best self. If you are a little nervous about starting or doubting you can do this – don’t be…I will be with you the entire journey. Once you review the start up package below, you will soon discover how easy my program is to follow. And remember….my goal is not only to get you to lose the weight, it is also teaching you an approach that ensures you keep your weight off for life!
A little about the program….
I am a firm believer that understanding the “why” behind my program will help you in your journey. Over the past 15 years, through my clinics, books and Cityline – I have had the privilege of helping thousands of Canadians lose weight and keep it off. I am very proud to offer an approach that is easy to follow, sustainable and focused on eating real food. As you will soon discover, the approach is not about calorie counting, deprivation or starvation. In fact, you will be eating quite a lot of food! The program is hormonally based with an emphasis on quality calories. Timing and combination of various foods becomes important, as does picking the right types of foods to help boost your metabolism. In a nutshell, I will outline a system of eating that balances your blood sugars, all the while burning unwanted fat. When you do eat in this manner – you will soon discover the pounds start to melt away. Any age, any stage – this can work for you and can be incorporated into any lifestyle!
So…are you ready to make 2017 your healthiest year yet? Let’s move the needle on the scale and on your health in the right direction. All you have to do is follow the simple steps outlined below.
Getting started on the Cityline Weight Loss challenge
What you will need:
- A computer or iPhone – be sure to join our Cityline Facebook group for support. Click here to join (you must have a Facebook account). Our Cityline facilitator will respond to your request and you will officially be part of our group! On the Facebook forum, we discuss successes, challenges, share recipes and stories and are always there to support each other.
- A scale – digital is best
- A cloth measuring tape
- A printer to print off your entire “start up package” which includes your food journal, food tracker, meal plans, grocery list and summary sheet. You cannot start the program properly without reviewing the start up package in its entirety. This will only take you 10-15 minutes to gather all the information and review.
