Add a pop of colour to your home with DIY gaffer tape art

Designer Christian Dare shows you how to create colourful DIY gaffer tape art.

Designer Christian Dare shows you how to create colourful DIY gaffer tape art. “I was in New Orleans where everything is so colourful, and I came home to Toronto and my was so white. It felt so bare!” says Christian. “I needed some colour and I wanted to do it cheaply.” Try his DIY gaffer tape art, using a wooden canvas, gaffer tape in assorted colours and widths and white geso paint. In need of a little inspiration to get started? Look at images of fashion designers like Paul Smith (for great stripes) or geometric abstract artist Ilya Bolotowsky.
