'Tis the season for over-indulging in treat, find out the calorie count behind favourite holiday snacks as well as a holiday workout that will counteract all the sweets you eat!

Caloric Impact of Common Festive Treats:

  1. 2 glasses of wine (or beer) (300) and holiday chocolates (200) = 500 cals (40 min of burpies ~ 300) *160 lbs person doing 10min not stop would burn about 125 calories
  2. 2 cocktails (300) and Holiday fruit cake (400) = 700cal (60+ min running)
  3. One glass of eggnog (300), shot of rum (100), 2 shortbread cookies (700) = 1100 cals (90min of jumpsquats, 120min running or almost 3hrs of walking)
