If you’re craving something sweet but are not in the mood to bake a dozen of cupcakes, these single serve desserts are your best friends. Baker Jyoti Nanra is here to show you how to bake a classic chocolate chip cookie and a cinnamon roll mug cake to satisfy your sweet tooth.

These treats are easy to bake, delicious and won’t take much time. So, grab your oven mitts and let’s get baking!

Cinnamon roll mug cake

g melted butter

Cinnamon butter swirl

ml butter

g brown sugar

tsp cinnamon

Icing for cinnamon roll mug cake

g cream cheese
5
g icing sugar
10
ml milk
dash vanilla

Instructions

Classic chocolate chip cookie
  1. Dollop two half tbsps of PB or Nutella onto a parchment lined baking sheet and freeze until solid.
  2. Preheat oven to 375 F and line a small baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Mix room temp butter with sugars. Add the egg and vanilla. Mix until a smooth mixture forms.
  4. Whisk together dry mix and fold into butter mixture.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Wrap two dough balls around frozen dollops. You may also just do one larger.
  7. Bake for 10-12 mins.
  8. Cool and indulge. 
Cinnamon roll mug cake
  1. In a mug, combine all your dry ingredients. 
  2. Mix together and pour in butter and milk. Mix until smooth.
  3. Whisk together the cinnamon butter swirl.
  4. Pour over the top and microwave for 50 seconds to 1 minute.
  5. Remove from microwave and cool for a few minutes.
  6. While the mug cake cools, whisk the cream cheese, icing sugar, milk, and vanilla until a smooth frosting forms.
  7. Pour over mug cake and enjoy.
