Vanilla buttercream for a Valentine’s Day stack cake

Ingredients

g unsalted butter, softened
5-6
cups confectioners sugar

Tbsp vanilla extract

Tbsp milk
pinch
of salt

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whip up softened butter until it’s pale, light, and fluffy.
  2. Add icing sugar 1-2 cups at a time. Whip in between to ensure icing sugar mixes into the butter.
  3. Once all the sugar has been added, whip to form buttercream. It will be thick.
  4. Add pinch of salt, milk, and vanilla. Whip buttercream on high. It will loosen up and become nice and fluffy.
