Hawaiian pizza

This sweet and savoury Hawaiian pizza will be the star of the show on your next family pizza night!

INGREDIENTS

METHOD

  1. Preheat oven to 450F.
  2. Roll out dough on a lightly floured surface to fit a 14″ round pizza pan (or 18″ x 13″ rectangular pan). Spread pizza sauce over dough and sprinkle with mozzarella. Add toppings evenly over dough.
  3. Bake in the centre of the oven for 10 minutes or until crust is golden and crispy. Broil for another 2 to 5 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  4. Let stand for 5 minutes before slicing.

FOR LUNCH

Thread sausage, mozzarella, and red pepper slices onto bamboo skewers. For a healthy snack, mix pineapple slices with yogurt and granola.

TIP

If pineapple is a bit tart for your taste buds, try substituting local, in-season pears. For a more savoury flavour, substitute with mushrooms and fresh basil.
