#CitylineReal: Show us your “real” March Break activities + week 9 round-up

This week's challenge: Whether you played games at home or visited a local museum, show us a pic from your March Break!

Throughout 2015, we’re pushing our movement to keep it real and spread positivity on social media. It’s called #CitylineReal and we want YOU to be a part of it! From showing us your worst hair days and your messy closets, to telling us how you’re spreading more kindness on Twitter, stay tuned for weekly challenges every Monday! Show us your true selves and let’s keep out all the hate! We’ll post a round-up of our fave posts every week, so whether you’re posting on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook, be sure to tag us and include the hashtag #CitylineReal.

This week’s challenge: March Break has come and gone, and while some of you were hopefully lucky enough to go on a fun getaway with the fam, we know that many more of you made the most of your time at home with the kids. So for this week’s challenge, we want to see your “real” March Break activities! Whether you played games at home or visited a local museum, post a pic from your March Break on your social media accounts and use the hashtag #CitylineReal! Check back here next week to see if you made it into our weekly round up!

And now, let’s take a look at some of our fave posts from last week’s challenge to tell us what advice you’d give to your younger self! We received so many interesting posts and we can’t wait to see what you all come up with for this week’s challenge, too!

The @tracycityline Things I'd Tell My Younger Self Challenge: Dear Lil Kim 1) You are NOT a product of your environment. You are NOT what society wants you to be. You are the child of the most high God, & you are here to figure out & fulfil his plan for your life. 2) Surrender your ego. That is where peace & love reside. 3) You are absolutely beautiful. The comments: "why is your jawline so strong, why do you have freckles, black ppl don't have freckles, what's that discolouration on your chest (It's a birthmark), how did you get the scar on the side of your left knee, what's the little bump on your thumb (I attained it from sucking my thumb as a kid), why is your waist so small & your legs like tree stumps…etc" they are ALL perfect. I no longer cover my freckles & ppl are paying to have the hips & thighs that I was naturally born with. Can you imagine I used to bust my behind doing Tae Bo after school & paid Dr Bernstein to inject my butt & thighs to make them smaller…at least I'm in style now 4) Work more so you can travel more. Travelling is one of life's many blessings. Exposure is knowledge. 5) Stay FAR away from the popular crowd, that's where misery & problems dwell. Be neutral & befriend ANYONE that genuinely values you. Also, PICK your friends, don't let ppl attach themselves to you. There's a difference. 6) Boys, men whatever. Leave them alone. PERIOD. When you focus on yourself they will find & run you down. As my mom always said line em up, & knock them off 1 by 1 cause the non genuine ones will fall off easy. 7) Follow your instincts ALWAYS. Especially when it doesn't make sense. That's when it matters most. 8) You are a natural born leader/motivator, but don't take on other ppls problems. Separate yourself. Other ppls karma is not yours to sort out. 9) Family 1st ALWAYS, because they will be there when everyone disappears. 10) You will survive the hard times. When you are in the storm it's hard to believe that you will make it out alive, but you WILL & you will be better for it. 11) Love. Love. Love. Deeply. #CitylineReal #Open #Vulnerability
