Wild rice casserole

A scrumptious casserole, made with an Indigenous twist.

Ingredients

1 cup
wild rice
1 cup
brown rice
Chopped mixed peppers
Chopped mushrooms
Chopped celery
Chopped Onions
TT
oil
TT
rice vinegar
Fine sea salt
Cracked pepper

Instructions

  1. 2 cups water to every cup of rice
  2. Sautee all vegetables in a pan with olive oil
  3. Mix all ingredients add a few tablespoons of olive oil
  4. Add rice vinegar one or 2 tablespoons to taste
  5. Add salt and pepper and mix together thoroughly
  6. Optional: to add finely chopped parsley and pine nuts
