Cinnamon, Basil, And Honey Roasted Peaches

Cinnamon, Basil and Honey Roasted Peaches

3 whole peaches

1 tbsp butter

1 tbsp honey

5 leaves basil

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

3/4 cup 35% cream

1)   Cut the peaches in half and remove the stones.  Melt half the butter in a pan over medium heat.  

2)   Add in the peaches and sauté for 2 minutes.  

3)   Place them on a baking tray cut side down.  Drizzle half the honey over the peaches and roast in a 400F degree oven for 12 to 15 minutes.  

4)   Remove from the oven and peel off the skin.

5)   Add the remaining butter, honey, cream and cinnamon into the pan used to saute the peaches.  Simmer to thicken.  

6)   Place the roasted peaches in a bowl.  Add the basil to the sauce and pour over the roasted peaches. Serve warm.
