City Name Map Art

Materials:

Wooden block letters

A map (I used a piece of map wrapping paper}

Craft paint

Mod podge

How To:

– Paint the wooden letters in a colour that matches the map.

– When paint is dry, trace the letters on the map and cut out.

– Paint mod podge on the front of each letter and place the cut out maps on each one.

Kids’ Wall Mural

Materials:

Paper

Scissors

Tape

Pencil

Paint

How To:

– Do an image search on the internet of shapes that fit your theme.

– Print each image and enlarge.

– Cut each one out and tape to the wall.

– Once you are happy with the placement, trace each shape with a pencil.

– Then outline each shape with paint using a fine paintbrush.

– Finish by painting each shape.
