Local strawberry and balsamic pops

Keep cool and enjoy your fresh strawberries with these easy ice pops.

Ingredients:

1 quart local strawberries

1 oz aged balsamic vinegar

6 leaves fresh basil

3 grinds of pepper

Method:

Wash and take tops off strawberries, add all ingredients into a blender or food processor.

Blend until smooth, if the blend is not sweet enough add maple syrup or honey.

Place into freezer molds or disposable cups with wooden sticks. (Used yogurt containers also work well.) Wrap with plastic wrap to keep the stick centered.

Any fruit will work, try to stay seasonal and get creative on your seasonings.
