Vintage-Style Vases
What you need:
– Several vintage looking vases (an uneven number works best when grouping them together as a centerpiece)
– Paint
– Paint brush
Paint each vase with several thin coats of paint, allowing each coat to dry completely before starting the next. I used matte Benjamin Moore paint in Jet Black, but you could do these in any colour or in a high gloss.
Silver Tray Chalkboard Signs
What you need:
– Vintage-style silver trays
– Benjamin Moore primer
– Benjamin Moore chalkboard paint
– Chalk
Paint each tray with a coat of primer leaving a silver edge as a ‘frame’. Add several coats of chalkboard paint. Use the chalk to write a welcome sign, menu for a dinner party or a sign for a wedding…the possibilities are endless!
