Join in on our weekly feature and find out what Cityline staff members, guest experts and viewers are reading!

Here at Cityline.ca, we love talking about books and what we’re reading and loving right now. In our weekly feature, Friday Reads, we give you a behind-the-scenes look at what Cityline guest experts and staff members are reading, as well as sharing the current picks of some of our viewers. This week, we’re taking a peek at the bookshelves of Suzanne Ellis and Winston Sih.

Suzanne Ellis, Cityline.ca’s managing editor is reading The Omnivore’s Dilemma by Michael Pollan (Penguin Books). This non-fiction bestseller aims to change the way North Americans make decisions about how and what they eat. “I’ve had The Omnivore’s Dilemma on my bookshelf for awhile and am finally getting around to reading it – it’s a really interesting look at the food choices we make and where our food comes from,” says Suzanne. “It’s definitely making me think long and hard about what should and shouldn’t be in my grocery cart.”

Winston Sih, Cityline‘s tech expert is reading Teens Gone Wired:Are You Ready? by Lyndsay Green (Thomas Allen Publishers). This helpful guide takes a look at the challenges parents face raising children in an overly electronic world. “Teens Gone Wired is a great refresher for anyone – even for people who aren’t parents like me – and allows you to brush up on your Internet ‘street smart’ skills,” says Winston.
