1. House cleaning service: With this, you’re really giving the gift of time, and allowing the recipient to enjoy their fabulous space, Karen says.
2. Personalized gifts: “There are so many options available,” notes Karen. “You can go online and find things like beautiful custom mailboxes that have the number of the house on them.” Another option is to find wall art that incorporates the family’s name.
3. Handmade gifts: Something that’s one of a kind, and that they won’t find anywhere else. Check out Etsy, a local church bazaar, or the One of a Kind craft show and sale.
4. Home decor or lifestyle magazine subscription: “Every month when they get that magazine in the mail, they’ll be thinking of you,” Karen says.
5. Toys: “Who doesn’t love to get a toy on Christmas Day?” Karen enthuses. “It can be a tech toy, like the latest iPod docking station, or it could be a board game for the family. I love toys for any age, and something that lots of people can play with and enjoy together.”
