Adding colour to your office wardrobe

No matter what your body type, Ingrie Williams shares her tips on how to update your work-wear with some bright hits of colour.

It can be easy to fall into a rut when it comes to dressing creatively for the office.  No matter what your body type, Ingrie Williams shares her tips on how to update your work-wear with some bright hits of colour.

If you have heavier in the middle to upper areas of your body, Ingrie suggests choosing a floral print blazer to maintain structure in the upper part of your body and to keep it neat and tidy.  Pairing it with some traditional-cut orange trousers will bring the look together.

For those with a shorter torso, a high-waist bright pencil skirt helps to elongate the body, and Ingrie suggests complimenting it with a striped camisole with a dark, neutral blazer with a nude shoe.  This classic look with a modern touch is polished and professional—perfect for the office.

If you are weightier in the hips and thigh area, Ingrie recommends pleats to allow the dress to accommodate flow away from the body.  Finish it off with a belt to tighten the waist area—it’s important to accentuate the smallest parts of your body to highlight an hour-glass figure.
