Pumpkin-inspired deviled eggs​

Ingredients​:

  • 6 large eggs​
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise​
  • 1 1/2 tbsp sweet pickle relish​
  • 1 tsp prepared mustard​
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • Dash of pepper​
  • Paprika for garnish
  • Green onion for garnish​

Method:

Place eggs in a single layer in a saucepan and add about 3 inches of water.​ Bring to a boil then cover, remove from heat, and let stand 15 minutes.​

Drain immediately and fill the saucepan with cold water and ice. ​

Tap each egg firmly on the counter until cracks form all over the shell then peel under cold running water.​

Slice eggs in half lengthwise, and carefully remove yolks.

Mash yolks with mayonnaise in another bowl. ​Add relish, mustard, salt and pepper, and stir well. ​

Spoon yolk mixture into egg whites. ​Feel free to garnish with paprika and green onions.
