Chris Hyndman

Chris died earlier this week in Toronto. We will remember him fondly as part of the original Citytv family.

Our sympathies go to the family and friends of Chris Hyndman, co-host of Steven and Chris, who died earlier this week. Chris and his partner, Steven Sabados, both began their careers at City. Chris worked in our makeup department, and Steven was a regular guest expert on Cityline. So, we feel a special bond with them and will remember Chris fondly as part of the original Citytv family. Our thoughts are with Steven at this time.

Our Deepest Sympathies to Steven, all of Chris’s family, friends and co-workers.
I just love Steven and Chris on their show, I watch it when ever I can, I tape it daily because of working and watch it on the weekends, which I always look forward to, their show cheers me up, makes me laugh and love all of their amazing ideas and guests.
But most of all, I love them together, their openness, sense of humour, candour, Chris comes across as one of the most down to earth, loving, caring, fun and a person that brought real life to the forefront. Steven and Chris are wonderful role models to the LGBT community. I will miss him on the screen, but I know there are others that will miss him even more. Love and prayer to all his family and friends, he is with the Angels now making them laugh. <3 <3

Such a sudden and tragic loss 🙁 Chris was so full of life and so much fun to watch on T.V. My condolences to the Hyndman family, to Steven and to Chris’s T.V. families and co-workers. R.I.P. Chris.
