My Milestone Year: Share your November goals!

In October and November, Tracy's goal is to get her family's finances in order.

Tracy turned the big 4-0 in January, and she’s making the most of her milestone year. Each month, she’ll be posting a new goal on her social media accounts — it could be more time with friends, a fitness goal or volunteering more in the community. Here’s Tracy’s goal for October and November, plus a roundup of your August goals below.

“Financial success, as well as most success in life, is not about perfection, it’s about direction.”—David Lynn Frost

I’m trying to remember this every time I fall out of step with my financial goals.

Most of us Capricorns could talk money all day, but really it’s about having a plan.

So, #MyMilestoneYear goal for October and November is to get back on top of our money.

Where are we? Where do we need to go? What are we doing to get there?

What’s your goal this month? Exercise more? Detox your diet?

YOUR AUGUST GOALS:

lyndsayjshaw: I have begun a fitness journey this summer, and am training (with my #nikerunning app) to run 10k, in addition to #lifting 3X per week. My September goal is to keep it up once the school year starts! @tracycityline

lizzygrace00: YES! Huge milestone year for us! We just moved out of a condo into our first-ever house, and I couldn’t believe how much “stuff” we had. It’s ridiculous, really. We donated almost half, and it feels amazing! I plan to continue decluttering this month. ☺ #livesimply #lessstuffmorelove #augustgoals #mymilestoneyear @Citylineca

loretaskitchen: @tracycityline I agree – less stuff more love. I just took my kids to NYC and bought them only one souvenir each (a Yankees Baseball hat) (Let’s go BlueJays) we have too much stuff and iNhave decided to use our extra cash on life experiences. #toomuchstuff #turnyourlifearound #loveyoutracy #inspiration

doritosgirl21: I had to clean out my mom’s house of 60 years. She kept everything AND its box. It was a clutter nightmare, especially with her thinking it was all good and we couldn’t just trash it. I vowed then and there to never put my child through that. I declutter monthly. When anything is bought something goes with clothing and toys

joanycmac: This year I made a decision if I bring something new into the house either clothing or housewares that I will donate or discard something. So far it has worked. Bonus points if more than one item goes!!
