A Bright And Airy Spring Fashion Look Book

Add a pop of colour into your wardrobe this season!

It’s been a long, cold winter, and it’s finally time to hang-up those worn-out leggings and comfy sweats. Feeling more inspired by our wardrobe doesn’t necessarily mean we need to sacrifice our comfort though. Stylist Janice Meredith is showing you 4 vibrant spring looks that will still keep you comfortable.

Outfit 1

Spring fashion doesn’t necessarily mean swearing off sweatpants altogether, just amp them up a bit! This comfy but bold jogger set has elevated details like knit ankles, which make it easier to dress up. This outfit has a great colour combo, as the tan trench pairs well with many items. The sneakers serve to liven up this look a bit more, while adding more colour!

Lightweight knits are a trans-seasonal win! This matching set is a new and fresh version of your every day cami and cardigan. The long cardigan can get so much use in your wardrobe with it’s layering options and because the knit is so light, it will drape and flow well off of all body shapes. The cami is a fun take on the total hit bra top as a layering piece – without it actually being a bra top! Pairing it with a knit skirt ensures comfort level is still there. This one can easily can be paired with denim for more versatility.

  • The Bay Purple knit long cardigan
  • HM Creme knit skirt

Outfit 3

This look is for the more colour shy among us. You don’t need to take a hard left turn outside your comfort zone in order to look great. Pick a cut or style that you already know works well on your body and that you are comfortable with, then find colour in that shape. Also, colour doesn’t need to be solid and all over. This check blazer mutes the strength of the red and the multi print blouse softens as opposed to a solid red. You could easily pair this combo with regular denim, if you’re so inclined.

  • Zara Over-sized check blazer
  • Coloured jeans
  • Zara Printed Blouse
  • Lintervalle kitten heel
  • HM straw and pink leather purse
  • Nobis trench

Outfit 4

Layering up these popping colours is definitely a statement, but it’s a statement that we love! All of these colours have been popping up since last summer, and work well on top of each other. Quarantine has opened up a whole new clothing item; the day dress/nap dress, and it’s time to take advantage of it! This knit dress is effortless but adding this blouse makes it more relaxed.
