- Bring 1 cup of water to a boil on the stove. Add 1 cup pure cane sugar and stir until dissolved.
- Turn off heat and add 3 Earl Grey tea bags and steep for 10 minutes. Remove tea bags and chill in the refrigerator before adding to the cocktail.
- Simple Syrup lasts covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks. Discard if it starts to look cloudy.
