White chocolate yogurt custard with balsamic cherries

This dessert is seriously satisfying - with rich white chocolate and fresh cherries on top!

  1. In a pot over medium-low heat, whisk together yogurt and egg yolks. Cook, whisking frequently, until thickened slightly, about 7-10 minutes. 
  2. Remove from heat; gradually stir in chocolate and salt (if using) until no lumps remain. Pour into 4 or 6 bowls, cover with plastic wrap and chill until set, about 4 hours. 
  3. In a bowl, combine cherries, sugar, balsamic and mint; let stand for at least 30 minutes. 
  4. Top each custard with cherries and serve.
