Chef Tre Sanderson shares his favourite Caribbean spice blends you can make at home to elevate the flavours in your cooking. Whether you’re a seasoned chef or just starting, these spice blends are a simple way to bring Caribbean flair to your kitchen.


Jerk Spice:

  1. Combine All Ingredients and store in air-tight container.

Jamaican Curry Powder:

  1. Toast the Seeds/Grains in a skillet on medium heat for 2-3 minutes, stirring a bit, until they become nicely fragrant. Do not let them burn or you will get a bitter flavour.
  1. Grind Toasted spices in spice grinder and then place curry powder in air tight container for future use.
