Baked Rutabaga

INGREDIENTS

Crust

METHOD

  1. Simmer rutabaga in stock for 40-50 minutes or until tender.
  2. Strain excess liquid and mash.
  3. Add butter, maple syrup and season.
  4. Plate in casserole dish.

 

Crust

  1. In a medium pan, melt butter and mix in bread crumbs, parsley.
  2. Toast lightly and crust rutabaga.
  3. Bake for 5 minutes and serve.
