Baked Strawberry Lemon Basil Pie

Nothing says summer like pie!

  1. Line the bottom of a pie pan with one of the pie crusts.
  2. In a large bowl mix the sugar, flour, cinnamon, lemon zest & juice, fresh basil, and fresh cut strawberries. Pour the mixture into the crust lined pie pan.
  3. Then cut the remaining pie crust into ¾ inch strips. Create a lattice over the filling. Using a fork crimp the edges and bake in a 425-degree pre heated oven for 35 to 45 minutes.
  4. Once cooked remove from the oven and rest on a wire rack to cool. Serve while still slightly warm.
